Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about Block Shatter mechanics, fairness, and availability.

Is Block Shatter an alternative to Block Blast?

Yes. Block Shatter uses the familiar 8x8 place-and-clear format, with three visible pieces, simultaneous row and column clears, Classic score runs, and Adventure stages with authored goals and opening boards.

Are the pieces completely random?

Piece selection is randomized within documented fairness rules. Block Shatter limits repetitive trios and extreme size combinations, while Adventure can use authored or recovery pieces to support a stage’s visible goal.

Can every Classic board be solved forever?

No endless run can promise that. Classic openings are validated with complete playable routes, but the run eventually ends if none of your three current pieces fit. Planning and preserving open space still determine how long you last.

Can I play Block Shatter on iOS and Android?

Yes. Block Shatter is available on the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad and on Google Play for Android. It requires no Block Shatter account, no mandatory sign-in, and starts immediately upon launch.
